Why Men love SPORTS ?

Have you ever wondered about this question,

WHY do men love sports?

Let me take a stab at answering this question.

War and Sports

Sports is to war, what porn is to sex. 

Sports is like a smaller version of War like MINIWAR. If you don't think sports is like war than you haven't seen India vs Pakistan match.

More importantly, sports is like socially acceptable form of war. During IND-PAK match, you can hate on the opponent, call them names, laugh at their mistakes and try to crush them much like a war but a softer and less brutal one.

Testosterone and Sports

Testosterone is a primarily a male hormone which dictates athleticism,aggression, muscle mass and bone strength. Testosterone level and liking towards sports is directly related. The higher testosterone you have, the more athletic and strong and muscle-bound you are, and the more you like sports. More masculine you are, more you like sports. Simply, Masculine = Athletic.

Does Elite Sportsmen like Virat Kohli or Cristiano Ronaldo look Masculine or feminine!

Show me someone who doesn't like sports and I will show someone who doesn't look strong and masculine.

Isn't a soilder who fights in war and a athlete who plays sports look the same which is strong, bulky and masculine. 

Exhibit D 

Even women who like sports or play in women sports are usually Tomboys meaning they look like boys and have same interests as men. Tomboys have high testosterone than other women. 

SideNote  - Women Sports (Sorry in advance)

Women typically have 12 to 17 times less testosterone than men so naturally women sports is massively less athletic and aggressive. This is the reason why international women's cricket is men's club cricket at best. Women Sports will always suck and will never be popular. Sorry but it's true.

Society vs Tribe

Societies rarely wage war on each other while Tribes are always at war. Societies are large with atleast thousand members while Tribes are small with around 150 members or less.  You could say animals in the forest live in tribes while we live as a society.

Are We Social Animals or Tribal Animals?

You must have heard that we are social animals but that's only half true. We lived in tribes before living as a Society. Society is a byproduct of  agricultural revolution which happened 10 thousand years ago but we are living on this planet for 7 million years. Which means that we lived 700 years in a tribe for every one year lived in a society. So anwer this if we lived 700 years in India and 1 year in America so are we Indians or Americans! Similarly, anwer this, are we Social animals or Tribal animals! 

Sidenote - Socialism

That's why globalism failed and so did socialism and communism cause we are tribal not social. It always failed in the past and will always fail in the future. Too bad we realised this after 100 million people are dead.

Conclusion

Because our ancestors were always mired in war and conflict, we have a tendency towards war and anything similar to it. War is in our genes. But, since we don't have wars anymore so we find war in the form of sports. It's like you move to US from India and you love cricket (duh)  but you can't play cricket there so you start playing baseball. It's not the same but it's very similar. Similarly, humans waged war all the time but now they are "civilized " , so they play sports now.
